Flat Front Tapered Dress Pants for Tall Women in Stone

These are listed as 35” inseam, however I feel like they are not quite long enough and fit more like a 33-34 inch inseam. Otherwise I love them!

Love how they taper and fit

I've had these pants for a few months, so here is my honest review....The pants fit very well; the cut and stretch of the fabric are very good. However, the quality and performance of the fabric is very poor. I purchased a pair of 8 Tall Navy on sale. Upon receiving the pants, they stunk of a heavy perfume. The smart move would have been to return them, but I liked how the pants felt and looked - it's SO hard to find great tall clothing! I don't know if the smell is part of the manufacturing process or if these pants were a return, but based on the perfume smell I'm inclined to believe it was a return from someone who wore them. Nevertheless, I hoped the wash would eliminate the bad smell. After one wash, the smell was still there but I chose to wear them - it would eventually take about 3-4 washes for the smell to be gone. While wearing the pants to work for the first time, the poor fabric performance was evident. DO NOT wear these pants if you plan to sit for more than a couple minutes as unsightly creases will form across the groin area and will be noticed as you get up and walk around - I've never had pants that crease so badly! Also, as you walk the fabric swishes loudly - embarrassing if you work in a quiet setting. Lastly, the bottom left leg opening seam has recently come undone, so I'll have to sew that....if I continue to wear these pants. I do really like American Tall, but I fully regret this particular purchase.

I love these pants! (I also ordered the Straight Leg dress pants and didn't love the material in those ones.) But I love the material, the cut, the slightest stretch to the waistband and everything about these dress pants. I even ordered them in two sizes and I'm keeping both, one for a clean fit and one for a looser feel. The only thing I'd change is a 38 inseam option (I'm 6'4").

The service is excellent with American Tall. I had an exchange for sizing and it was handled quickly and easily. Sizing is good. Material is excellent. Finally pants with a length that won't shrink up within washes.
