We gladly accept the return or exchange of unworn, and unwashed American Tall items up to 30 days after ship date (For November and December orders see our Holiday Policy below). Items must be in re-sellable condition. If you happen to receive a defective item, please contact us before sending it back.

WHAT CARRIER DO YOU USE FOR RETURN LABELS?

The majority of return labels are generated with UPS. American Tall is not responsible for packages dropped at the wrong carrier, so please verify the carrier on your return label before returning the package.

If selecting return for refund, you can use our flat rate return shipping label ($9 USD) or ship using your own trackable method. If you return items (for refund) using our label/s, the cost will be deducted from your refund.

WHAT items can be returned / exchanged?

Please make sure to complete a return/exchange request in our portal before sending a package back. American Tall is not liable for exchanges or returns sent without approval.

Exchanges: 

• We offer ONE free size exchange or store credit return per order (excludes final sale items). Exchanges must be for the same style and color item as originally purchased.

Returns: 

• Refunds for merchandise returned within the eligible time period will be credited in the same form as the original payment method.

• Items returned without tags and/or packaging will be subject to a $3.95 re-packaging fee and in some cases may only be eligible for store credit return (So keep the tags on until you know you're keeping it!). Original packing slip or invoice must be included in return package.

• A fee will be assessed to "return to sender" package refund requests, as well as unclaimed UPS packages.

• Returns valued over $300 may be subject to a 10% handling/restocking fee.

WHAT ITEMS ARE FINAL SALE?

Returns and exchanges are available on most men's and women's tall clothing purchases. Selected promotions may state "final sale", or "no returns" on our website and/or in our advertising.  These items cannot be returned or exchanged (This includes socks, boxers and swimwear with liners).

WHAT IF I RECEIVED DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE OR INCORRECT ITEMS?

If you happen to receive a damaged, defective or incorrect item, please contact us with a photo of the damage, or the wrong item you received, as well as your order number so we can make it right.

ARE SHIPPING CHARGES REFUNDABLE?

Shipping charges are non-refundable.

CAN I RETURN A GIFTCARD?

Gift cards & store credits are final sale and cannot be returned for refund.

WHAT IS YOUR INTERNATIONAL RETURN POLICY?

Unfortunately, we do not cover return postage. Exchange items will be shipped out free of charge.

WHAT IS THE HOLIDAY RETURN POLICY?

Any gift orders placed from November 1st through Dec 31st can be returned to American Tall until January 15th of the following year (or 30 days from purchase, whichever is longer).

In what currency are store credits issued? 

Store credits are issued in USD. If you place an order in another currency and return it for store credit, your return will be converted to USD based on the conversion rate at the time of order processing.

Please note that exchanges and store credit are processed within 2 business days after receiving the package.

Buy now, pay later with Shop Pay

WHAT IS THE OPTION TO PAY IN INSTALLMENTS ON SHOP PAY?

When checking out with Shop Pay, you now have the option to pay now or later. Paying in installments on Shop Pay allows you to split your purchase amount into four equal, biweekly installment payments with 0% APR, or monthly installments with no hidden or late fees*.

WHICH PAYMENT METHODS ARE ACCEPTED IF I USE THE OPTION TO PAY IN INSTALLMENTS ON SHOP PAY?

For non-interest bearing orders, debit and credit cards are accepted through Shop Pay. For interest bearing orders, you can only pay using a debit card.

CAN I USE SHOP PAY INSTALLMENTS IF I'M AN INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMER

Shop Pay Installments is only available to customers with a United States billing address and phone number. Customers with international billing addresses and phone numbers can't use Shop Pay Installments.

ARE THERE ANY LATE FEES?

No, there are no late fees if you miss a scheduled payment.

WHAT IF I MISS AN INSTALLMENT PAYMENT?

There are no late fees for customers who miss a scheduled payment. However, partial payments or late payments might impact your credit score, or your eligibility to use Shop Pay Installments in the future. If you have questions about a missed installment payment, then you can contact Affirm support for assistance.

WHAT IF I MAKE A RETURN ON A PURCHASE MADE THROUGH INSTALLMENTS WITH SHOP PAY?

After your refund is processed, the refund amount will appear on your payment schedule within 3-10 business days, and your balance will be updated.

If your refund is less than your total purchase balance, then it might not lower your next payment. Instead, you can expect fewer payments, a smaller final payment, or both.

If your refund is more than your purchase balance, then the difference is returned to your original payment method within 3-10 business days.

If your order is made with monthly payments, then the paid interest isn't refunded. Interest is the cost of borrowing, and isn't refundable.
