Who can wear these clothes?These styles have all been designed to fit men who have a regular build but happen to be taller than 6'2. In general, we offer shirts and tops in Medium - 2XL in 2 lengths, Tall and Extra Tall. Our clothing fits men between 6’3”-7’1” who have slim, regular or solid builds. Shorter men with long limbs will find some of our styles work for them and some men who are taller than 7’1” with slightly shorter limbs might also find styles that fit them. Our models for the current season are James and Keston who are both 6’7” and right on the border between our Tall and Extra Tall. James at 220 lbs wears our Large Tall tops and Keston at 170 lbs wears the Medium Tall. In most cases men over 6’7” require our Extra Tall lengths which are 2” longer than Tall. While these two represent the smaller side of our size offering (M and L) we also cater to much bigger men (XL and 2XL) over 300 lbs.
Our pants and jeans actually fit men from about 6’0-7’4. We size all our bottoms by waist and inseam length ranging from waist size 30" - 42" and inseam length 34" - 40".
How do I know what size to order?For a basic overview of our fit and size offering visit our "About Us" page. You can also watch our “How to fit” video for shirts to get more precise measurements. You will learn how to properly measure yourself. With your measurements you can then use the size chart that accompanies each style and determine the size that should fit you best. Additionally, you can look at the models and estimate if they are larger or smaller than you are. What if I buy the wrong size or don't like an item?We offer a “No Hassle Return” policy. You simply notify us of your wish to return any merchandise and we will give you an authorization number. You will be refunded 100% of the purchase price as long as the item is unworn, unwashed, and undamaged. We would appreciate knowing why you are returning items so that we can better understand our customers’ needs but you have no obligation to explain.
Are these clothes easy to care for?In a word, yes. The gentler you are with your clothes the longer they will remain looking great. All of our clothing can be machine washed and can be put in the dryer on low heat and then pressed. We suggest turning clothes inside out for laundering to protect the surface from abrasion or scuffing. Cotton shirts do need some pressing after washing to look crisp.
Can I expect any shrinkage?
Many of our garments are pre-washed and so you will not experience any shrinkage. This information can be found on each individual product page. For garments that are unwashed you can expect some slight shrinkage (2-3%). To minimize shrinkage we recommend washing and drying in as low heat as possible.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes we offer electronic gift cards! Upon purchase the gift card code will be emailed to you. You can forward this to the recipient.
What is American Tall?
American Tall is a young company (founded in late 2015 by father and son) dedicated to making quality clothing for tall men who don't fit in regular sized clothing. We jokingly say we make clothing for guys who are "too tall for the mall". We fit slim and tall men as well as more solidly built and tall men (S-3XL)

Duty and Brokerage
Will I have to pay duty when my order arrives?
Shipments to US addresses are shipped from the US and shipments to Canada are shipped from Canada so there are no duty or brokerage costs in North America!
Shipments outside of North America will incur local duty and brokerage charges. Please note that we are not responsible for these charges.
What Are Your Shipping Options?
Shipping in North America is FREE on all orders $50 (USD) or over (pre-tax value). If under $50 (USD), a $6.95 USD Flat Rate shipping applies.
When you place your order with us you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive a second email, with tracking number when your order has shipped. Please note, if changes are made to your order prior to shipping, those changes will not be displayed on the shipping confirmation email.
All US orders are shipped from Buffalo, NY via USPS. All Canadian orders ship from our warehouse in Mississauga, ON via Canada Post.
Dispatch is normally 1-2 business days following receipt of your order Monday-Friday. Orders placed on holidays or weekends will begin processing the next business day.
Estimated delivery time within continental US is 2-4 business days from ship date. Deliveries by Canada Post can take up to 7 days. For deliveries outside of North America please inquire at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Orders placed after 12 p.m. EST will be processed the following business day.

We do not offer an overnight/expedited shipping option at this time.

Returns & Refunds
What is Your return Policy?
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we will gladly accept a return for a full refund. Returns and exchanges are available for most purchases. Selected promotions may state final sale on our website and/or in our advertising. Final sale items cannot be returned or exchanged.

Yes, we offer free exchanges for items of the same style (we pay shipping both ways).
Are Returns free?
Yes, we offer free Returns for Credit!
If you wish to return something for store credit select it in our returns portal and you'll be emailed a pre-paid return label (US customers only). Canadian/international customers will be reimbursed for return shipping cost (added to returned item/s store credit). The item/s must be unworn/unwashed and unaltered to be eligible for return.
Returns for Refund:
We also accept return for refund (to original payment method) as long as the item/s is unworn, unwashed and unaltered. We do not cover the shipping cost. You will be sent the return address and you can ship using a service of your choice (we recommend USPS). If the item no longer has the original tags/packaging it may be subject to a $3.95 repackaging fee.

How Long Does the Returns Process Take?
We receive packages from our Return department every 1-2 weeks. It may take an additional week to process your return. In general the entire return process usually takes 2-3 weeks. Exchanges process within 2 weeks.
