American Tall's #GivingTuesday Program
All year long, the employees at American Tall have been contributing $2 daily to a subsidized lunch program, with the goal of donating the proceeds to a good cause for #GivingTuesday, November 28th.
We've learned that used socks aren't accepted by shelters for hygiene reasons, and because of that new socks are the number 1 requested donatable item. Our mission is to leverage our manufacturing contacts to produce new, donatable socks, and now we're calling on our tall community to help us achieve this goal.

Even Feet Need A Helping Hand
With the help of the tall community, #GivingTuesday at American Tall will be about our employees and customers working together to hit our goal of donating 50,000 pairs of socks to shelters in major cities across North America.
We’ve partnered with four shelters in major US and Canadian cities with the goal of donating 50,000 pairs of socks so they can distribute them to those in need.
For every purchase you make over $60 USD on #GivingTuesday, you’ll be donating socks alongside our employees. The more you purchase, the more socks we donate.
By early January, our goal is to have 50,000 pairs of socks manufactured and sent to our four partner shelters:
BronxWorks (New York)
The Beacon (Houston)
Urban Angels (San Francisco)
Fred Victor (Toronto)
Between the tall community, our staff, and these shelters, we hope to get 12,500 pairs of socks over to each shelter and onto the feet of those who need it most.
